Thanks so much Tessa 😀 I’m really touched by this. (And I thought I’d already posted a comment about this, but it now doesn’t seem to be here, so am doing it again – apologies if you end up with two similar comments from me!)

Are there any rules about who you can nominate for this particular award? Do you nominate just any blogs you like reading, or do they have to be new, or related to your own blog subject, or what? I don’t want to get it wrong!

Also, copy-paste doesn’t work in my editor, nor does the insert link – how did you get the links to show in your post? Sorry for being such a newbie! Do you just use the Add Media thing? My cursor moves to random places on my edit if I try to use any of the editor toolbar commands. Don’t think WP is v iPad-friendly!

    Thanks so much again,

    L. X

I use a pc and I have a dashboard full of commands from my blog. I don’t know how to do it via iPad. You may nominate anyone you want, new or old, different subjects, whoever you choose to nominate. I usually copy/paste it into my empty screen and redo what needs changing. It brings over the links. But you would have to change them in most places. I forget not everyone uses a pc.

If you can save the award picture and then insert it that would help. Then maybe you can type out what you can. Luckily this isn’t one of the longer ones with tons of questions.

Read what I have and try to condense it. It doesn’t need to be perfect and you can even put in there that you are doing it via iPad. As for the links I don’t know. You could type them, but they may not be clickable then.It is definitely easier to use the dashboard in my opinion.

Sorry I am not much more help. But I have seen other people do it differently since they couldn’t do it exactly as the original. Just do your best. Let me know if there is anyway I can help.

        Thanks.

I worked out how to do the picture, that’s in, but I’ve typed the links and they haven’t come up as links – not highlighted, even though the links are right because I’ve re-written them exactly as the page URL appears.

Not sure what you mean by dashboard, I go to the New Post thing and have a screen that I thought was called the Editor, with a toolbar at the top that seems to clash with my iPad if I try to use any of the commands on it.

I do have a pc, but it’s in the office and I’m in bed. PC is awkward at best of times (it seems to be sulking) and there MUST be a way of doing it on the iPad. I just can’t get the cursor to stay where I put it if I go to the toolbar – it’s why my lay-outs are so plain, because the only thing it will let me do on that screen is bold, underline or italicise text as an iPad instruction.

Is the dashboard somewhere else, with a different Write Post screen? What am I being thick about here?

What happens if I can’t make the links clickable?

        Help!!!!

Not clickable they will have to copy paste or in your case type the link in. But you did it somehow. I saw the page and it looked great. I don’t know what your screen looks like. At the top right it says My sites/Reader/Follow/Like and Reblog. When I run my cursor over My sites it drops a dashboard down and I slide cursor down to Blog Posts and click on that and the go to new posts when the next drop down shows up. That gives me the old one. If I hit quick post or post anywhere else I get a stupid new set up and lose some of the choices I have on here.

It turned out well. I don’t use quick post and I don’t use their new convoluted post page. It sucks. I went back to the old one. Found it by accident. I hated the new one. Missing so many things.

PS iPad normally lets me select, cut, copy, paste etc in that screen, but for some reason it never lets me paste anywhere, so I can’t move any inserted links from the random positions they keep ending up in. 😦

I’ve almost forgotten this… so rude of me. I’m sorry. Busy, busy busy. But I’ll accept it tomorrow and have it posted on my blog. Thank you again, Tessa. I’m really honoured by your thought of me
