Explore the room you’re in as if you’re seeing it for the first time. Pretend you know nothing. What do you see? Who is the person who lives there?
As I walk in to this room I see it is a bedroom. The room is small and the owner has too much stuff for such a little room. You can see by a lot of the stuff that this person lives in this room as their living quarters. There is also a cat that is evidenced by the kitty litter box.
It is obvious the person is a slob. There is trash and recycles piled up. Looks like several weeks worth that need to go downstairs. If you look closely you realize this person also has hoarding tendencies. There is stuff piled on the floor and yet you can see empty drawers in the plastic cabinets used for storage. Every flat surface is covered and piled with all kinds of things.
Laundry has backed up and there is a huge pile on one flat surface and a laundry basket filled with folded, clean clothes.
The person is into computers. There are a couple in the room. Plus the printer.
The bed is not made and obviously hasn’t been for some time as the covers have pretty much fallen off one side of the bed.
The place is dusty and there is cat hair everywhere.
Ahhh, and there is the cat. A black cat with a tiny fluff of white on her tummy. She is a vocal cat currently lying on a plastic bag that is on the floor. Cat food is all over the floor from where she eats and makes a mess.
There is a vacuum cleaner in this room although it looks as if it hasn’t been used in weeks or months.
What you see is a room that is not cared for, but is just a space to park their ass. The room of a hoarder.
