I’ll probably try it sometimes. I thought this was a fad but of course the time will tell. If I want to relax, I’d probably play computer games or crochet or read something. Or just sit back in my favorite rocker recliner and reflect on the past day.

YES! I love coloring…my favorite coloring book is by Creative Haven – Art Nouveau Patterns. I’ve made copies of the pages just for my personal use so I don’t spoil the originals. Coloring is calming and helps with my creativity. Thanks for sharing, Tessa! ❤ Rose

This idea was given to my before, possibly Joyce, not sure, but I bought one of the recommended books and see how it helps me focus.

these are not new, tho. back to the first time i was hospitalized in 2003, this is what most of us did on the unit if not watching tv. i took some sheets home with me to color there. and every time i have been in the hospital, these have been used by at least half the people on the ward most of the time. i was ridiculously pleased to see i could find color sheets online and print them out! now i just need to get a new set of markers!

I wish we did that when I was in the hospital. We were given a handful of crayons and a piece of paper and told to draw something. I can’t draw, would have been better to have something to color. Have fun coloring.
