You just inherited a dilapidated, crumbling-down grand mansion in the countryside. Assuming money is no issue, what do you do with it?
First I would find someone suitable to be a contractor for such a project. Because it would be huge and I am no contractor. We would talk about plans to be done.
A grand mansion, must have parlors and libraries and ballrooms and of course servant’s corners. I would like my mansion to have turrets on all 4 corners. There would be plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so lots of people could stay over after a grand ball.
I would make sure there was a stable for horses. Enough to outfit a decent size party.
The kitchens would be revamped in modern equipment and the pantries well-stocked.
There would be a large round driveway in front of the house and plenty of parking near the rear if need be. There would be valets parking cars so that wouldn’t be a problem.
There would be a groundskeeper to keep the grounds lovely and full of colorful flowers and plants.
Plus a huge pool with a daily pool boy to keep it ready for use at any time, night or day.
I would make it into a duplicate of the old grand mansion.
