Bipolar Brain – Poem

Bipolar Brain
by Teresa Dean Smeigh

I wish my brain would
Give up its secrets easily.
Not drag them out should
I start to act uneasily.

Sneaky memories pushed out
By horrible nightmares.
No one cares so much about
My hidden awful cares.

Are these memories true?
Or just triggered by dreams.
They come in out of the blue.
And some just give me screams.

You work so hard at quality living every day. I know some days are better than others. Just wanted you to realize that we, the readers, benefit greatly from all your efforts. You are greatly appreciated.

Thank you Jonathan. There are many great people here and you are definitely one of them . You help me feel better about myself when it is needed. You help me feel appreciated. And I think we all need to feel appreciated from time to time. Sometimes I am a little needier than others.
