I am back, don’t breathe too hard though.

I couldn’t sleep. I was really pissed. My thoughts were racing through my head.

I prayed and then I thought what about my old Netgear adapter. I haven’t used it in a long time, but maybe just maybe it would find the software.

So I dug around in this mess and found it. I plugged it in and the Netgear icon came on and then shock of all shocks I hit the internet and it came up.  So I don’t have to go bitch them out tomorrow. I just have to return the external backup that started this whole situation.

Now my other problem is that no emails are coming through anymore. I checked in WordPress and the boxes are all checked. I made sure they were coming through gmail and not being forwarded from there and they are not.

Any suggestions and how do you get a hold of help from WordPress itself?

Thanks! Hoping to stay this time. I was on a roll and had a routine and everything just went nuts. The night before WordPress stopped sending me notices by email. I don’t know how to use the reader very well. I skipped that part in the class, because I preferred email notifications since then I knew where I was and didn’t miss anything. And then bam all hell broke loose the next day. I am the emotional type.

Dear Tessa, hopefully (thanks to the link of Poet Rummager) the technicians at WordPress could help you out and you are getting all notices back in your mail box and at the pop-up in the right hand corner (next to the icon).

Now that I have the computer back I can try that link. Thanks for reminding me. Hey thanks I didn’t know that popup was there. That helps at least.

Which are you working with WordPress.com or WordPress.org. Either way, you can go through the forum for support but neither one is very quick about it because there are so many different requests for help. I just contacted WordPress.org forum myself because nobody can see anyone else’s comments on my two self-hosted sites and I’ve checked it out all that I can. Good luck with it anyway. Susan:)

dot com! I don’t know where the forums are located either. I have severe brain fog and lose things along with my mind. I know I have been to the forums before, but forget where. Thanks need all the luck I can get. I feel so out of control and I need control and no changes. I don’t handle changes. This has really messed me up mentally wise as well.

login to the Reader at WordPress. Click on your picture at the top. Click on Account settings. On the left, click on Help. Go all the way to the bottom and click on Support if you want the written information about WordPress.com or click on Forum if you want the Forum. Bookmark this so next time you can just pull it up from your bookmarks. At the Forum just write your question/problem and follow by email and if you want you can follow the RSS feed too but bookmark the RSS feed to so it is easy to pull up. They aren’t very fast though because they get thousands of requests. Print these instructions out by copy/paste for next time so you don’t have to depend upon your memory. Hope this helps. Susan:)
