Apology to Jason Cushman, if you haven’t unfollowed me.

Last night got way out of control. It just struck me the wrong way and I usually don’t act that way. If I don’t like what I read, I skip it. It happened so fast too. And you did hurt my feelings and I did ask for an apology last night. It will have helped tone down what happened. You just kept laughing at me, you know the happy face. That is how I took it.

I am sorry for my part in that uncalled for lynching.

Again, I use smileys all the time and I use them to diffuse people. Obviously didn’t work in this case. I was NOT laughing at you and I even told you I understood you were upset. I gave my apology when I felt the need and have posted it on my blog. Take care.

I saw the apology, I accept the apology and I hope we can go back to where things were before this disaster happen. I promise to do my best to think before I open my mouth. I always know that, but last night caught me unawares and in a bad place. I know that is not your fault or your problem. Please accept my apology. I would hate to lose a good friend and I think of you that way.

Ok I hope this is over. I had my one day of unniceness and have apologized and it was accepted. Can we all forget this (and I know what I said) and go on as friends please?

I sort of lost respect for you, you know? Doing this to a nice person. Demanding an apology? Forming a lynch party? You’ll forgive but won’t forget? It’s the most unchristian behaviour I have ever seen! Apparently your daily devotion is not working. Tsk.

Well for one thing I didn’t start a lynch mob. I stated my opinion and the others theirs. I also happen to be human and not perfect. I asked for an apology that would have stopped that whole mess sooner than it did. We have worked it out. I am sorry you feel the way you do.

Jason and I had patched this mess up and you are now just stirring things up. He obviously took back the message saying things were ok because it disappeared just as I clicked on it. Please stay out of this. It is between him and I. If you feel that I am some kind of inhuman monster than please unfollow me. I feel bad enough right now without your help.

My turn to make an apology! Sorry. Had rather a hard time with the fair housing thing. I had been online with them questioning me on what had happened at my place between the landlord and me. I should not use it as an excuse to blow up at you. I am really upset with the situation going on knowing that I can not prove they are lying. Again I am sorry.

Apology accepted. I understand your stress. Kind of what happened between Jason and me. No one meant to hurt anyone else. Just a bad experience I would like to forget. When I am manic I should just disappear for awhile. Sorry about your situation. hope it works out. Take care and lets all relax and forgive and forget yes forget. LOL!

Tessa you can only take responsibility for your actions. What anyone else did is all on them, not you. There wasn’t any lynching led by you. If anyone engaged in such negative behavior they did it based on their own reactions and thoughts, not riled up by you or anyone. Don’t fall into the trap of being turned into the perpetrator when you aren’t.

I started out in the MSN chatrooms and IM where emoticons were HUGE ways of discerning the spirit of a statement. So this new “improved” net of smart phone “emojis” is lost on me. The only things I know are happy, sad, and tongue sticking out to note sarcasm. (Which in my case is a necessity since people mistake my sarcastic humor for meanness or whatever.)
Not sure about this whole thing but I am glad it’s dying down. I can’t abide anyone saying bipolar is amusing unless in parody but really…we’re supposed to be adults and the way people “latch on and lynch” is very juvenile.
Not to say the bipolar community has no right to be offended…But one can plead their case without it being cruel or low brow.
I’m with you- if something offends me, I just skip it. Not worth the drama. After all, the US was built on free speech. There was no guarantee that we’d all agree on anything. Pursuit of happiness. Perfect harmony was a cheesy Coca Cola commercial. 😉
