#WeekendCoffeeShare: In Which The Holidays Are Wished Away

weekend coffee shareI am afraid I am not a very good hostess. I don’t have coffee or tea or even bottled water to offer you. Filtered tap water is the extent of the beverages currently in the house.

If we were sharing water LOL, I would tell you what a busy week in the doctor’s offices for me. I had 2 chiropractor visits, 1 psychiatric nurse for medication changes, 1 psychotherapy to try and work things out, and 1 Rheumatologist visit which netted me 2 injections, one in the left hip and left knee.

If we were sharing water (yum) I would tell you that I forced myself to the store for gifts for my grandchildren and my sister’s new grandchild. An expense I didn’t expect.

If we were sharing water, still, I would tell you that I have sent no Christmas cards and received none. Hoping for the day I don’t have to send any at all. I think I got 5 last year. It is an expense I would love to give up. I just don’t have any Christmas spirit and I have been this way most of my life.

We are tired of water so I will just tell you that I have been having frequent mood swings and so far the change in meds hasn’t helped. It is just driving me crazy and they want to add another medication to the mix. Hallelujah! Just what I need, another one.

Have a great week,

Sorry you are not feeling a d it sounds like you are in a flood area. That is no fun. I haven’t mai led Christmas cards for a number of years. We live in a senior retirement apae and I realized that there are people who don’t get any thing for Christmas. We now send a card to everyone at the apartment. Our hall decorations will go u p next week. Some are up already. Ha e good season of cheer. A smile a day.

But water is good for us 🙂 I’ve had trouble getting in the Christmas spirit too this year. It’s been a year…. am hoping I will be more like myself by next year. Hang in there- they are bound to get your meds worked out.

I hope they get the meds settled soon, but even then I do not like the holidays and everything got worse after the divorce. Splitting up children for this and that. Holidays no longer seem like holidays and my kids are ages 28 through 38. Hope you are feeling better.

Luckily I love water. Thanks for sharing. What a week. I hate waiting in waiting rooms. Hopefully the injections have helped the arthritis and that the new medication may have kicked in and is helping your mood swings. Hope next week is a bit better and you can manage lots of writing,

Hope the medicine gets evened out soon. Sounds like you had a busy week! Hope the coming one is a bit more relaxing for you.

The holidays are, at least, galloping to an end, so pretty soon they won’t be a worry. 🙂

I love water and often have some with my coffee anyway. Thank you for a lovely refreshing drink. I’m not sending Christmas cards this year, at least I don’t think I am.
