Pretty Shade of Purple – whoosh down the steps I fell.

Well I hurt all over. I was barefoot as always. Smacked my arms, hips and bottom all the way to the bottom of the stairs. I immediately had this:

IMG_0273 (2)I woke the dog and dad. I needed help up. I don’t think anything is broken, but I am one ball of pain including my neck due to my sudden stop at the bottom. Good thing I am short. May have to have it checked out tomorrow. I want to cry. I have a bump under that bruise. No more computer. I am awaked, but it hurts to type. Wish me luck.

I hope you are feeling better! That’s a nasty looking bruise! How did you happen to trip and please make sure there’s nothing serious! Take care and heal soon, Tessa.

Not exactly sure other than I was walking my one foot down bring down the other due to the other pain and the whoosh my bare foot (always bare foot) slipped out and down I went. Usually I catch my self. This time I went all the way day. We spent about 6 hours early morning in the ER. Thanks for the well wishes.

Although this new method of stair climbing gets you from the starting point to the finishing point more quickly, I think I would recommend using your legs instead! 🙂 . Seriously, I hope your pain diminishes quickly and your back on the computer in no time! Glad you didn’t suffer the possibilities of worse injuries. Someone was likely looking down on you.

Thank you Jonathan you are funny. Made me laugh. I don’t like the new way. Too painful. I am sitting on pillows trying to be comfortable so I can write some at least. Glad someone was looking down on me although it had to be a laugh. I hit each step with my bottom. Bounce, bounce, bounce.

Oh, I am so sorry you fell. That’s a nasty bruise. Keep some ice on it until tomorrow. It’s the retired nurse in me. Take care on those stairs. I took a fall a couple weeks ago from my bed to the floor and had to text my daughter in the middle of the night to help me get back up off the floor, so I know how you feel…my fall wasn’t bad, just couldn’t get up on my own power. I’ll keep praying for you. 🙂

Thank you I just sat there, no moving. Can’t get off the floor either and no phone, but I made enough noise to wake the house and the dog. No problem there. 🙂

Ouch! That’s a good-sized bruise…it might get more colourful over the next few days. Glad that nothing is broken – take care and I hope that it doesn’t hurt too bad.
    🙂
