Are Opiates Right for Fibromyalgia?

I personally don’t take opiates for my fibromyalgia. This is because I can’t afford monthly appts and drug tests whenever they feel like it. My pain does not respond to NSAIDS and only partially to opiates when I took them. I preferred to take them occasionally just to take the edge off, but their program was set up to have me take them 3 times a day, every day. I couldn’t drive on them and that restricts life even more.

Here is an article from Healthiculture on this subject.
