Now it has been found that those with Fibromyalgia almost always have Vitamin D Deficiency, which causes pain as one of its symptoms.
The FDA recommends about 400 plus I.U.’s of Vitamin D a day and a Fibromyalgia specialist will recommend 5000 to 10,000 units per day. I personally take 10,000 units and with or without I have not found a difference in the pain, but it does bring up my deficiency to normal levels.
If you have Fibromyalgia, have your Vitamin D levels checked and get out in the sun or take supplements to get you levels to normal.
