Gabapentin for Fibromyalgia

Gabapentin is not FDA certified to treat Fibromyalgia, but many doctors use it and many people are helped by it. The 3 certified drugs for Fibromyalgia are Lyrica, Cymbalta, and Savella. Doctors have been trying different medications to help with Fibromyalgia which help many people, but unfortunately nothing seems to work for me.

Gabapentin is similar to Lyrica and is mainly prescribed for convulsions, but many people have gotten relief for their Fibromyalgia.

I hope that Gabapentin will help you, and sincerely wish that you feel better.

That said, I am taking a low dosage of Gaba for my diabetes neuropathy. I don’t want to switch to a higher dosage because of the side effects. It seems to help right now.
