Sick…haven’t been sick in years.

How convenient I got sick in time for my dr appointment and so I got an antibiotic without making a trip back in a few days when it would be worse. Ears, throat and sinuses infected.

My A1c dropped from 10.4 to 8.4. I had to stop the Metformin and am now taking Glipizide and Januvia.

It has been many years since I was sick and it usually hits me hard when it does hit. So hopefully catching it early will help.

The Rant I Promised You — HarsH ReaLiTy

Disclaimer: Language & Opinion They say to never write in anger. They say “professional bloggers” leave passion at home. Well if anything this proves I am not a professional blogger and will probably never be a professional writer. I am writing this while angry. This morning I shared this link https://www.yahoo.com/news/adopted-3-brought-us-korean-man-deported-222504748.html about a South Korean […]

Medicare making things more complicated.

Medicare automatically enrolled me in a part d prescription program. It is just for prescriptions for people who get extra help like I do. However I would have to go to original Medicare and not have the advantages that the Advantage programs offer. Now I have to find out if it is worth it to use their program. I will be glad when this is over.

No snacks in my room.

fff

Not sure of picture source-sorry if this belongs to you. Just let me know and I will take it down. It was in my media files most of which come from Pixabay.

I always kept snacks in my room and I ate them steadily. I no longer keep snacks in my room and eat less. Not that it helps my weight. I still eat out, that is the problem in a nutshell. Also blame it on the meds I take that cause weight gain. That doesn’t help.

Fibro and Bacon…a big no-no.

It seems that bacon being high in fat affects the joints and muscles of those of us with Fibromyalgia. We shouldn’t have bacon or at least look for fat – free turkey bacon.

Bacon is one of my favorite foods and here it could be adding to my pain. Say it ain’t so!
