Bananas and Fibromyalgia

I don’t remember if I wrote about this before. Unfortunately I get very confused now and I always have new readers it can help. Bananas are useful in relieving pain of Fibromyalgia and other chronic pain.. By no means it can help aid with complete recovering, but it can definitely help reduce pain symptoms. Doctors believe that foods rich in potassium can aid with problems associated with chronic pain and fibromyalgia is one of them.

Another great benefit is bananas can help with fatigue. With fibromyalgia, you almost always feel tired and lethargic. Bananas can give you instant energy to get you through the day.

Thanks, Tessa! Do you suggest eating a whole banana a day? I have one small to medium or a half large banana in my smoothie every morning which contains other foods that are good for me. Does “processing” the banana kill the effectiveness? I know with some foods it can.

I can’t really answer your question. I have to watch banana consumption due to Diabetes. I don’t eat them daily. As for processing, I don’t see why that would not work as well. More and more natural health drs are recommending smoothies.
