He Died on the Cross For Us

I will follow wherever you lead, my Lord!

Godly Friends!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Proverbs 18:24 NKJV
A man who has friends, must himself be friendly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Lord doesn’t just want you to have a relationship with him, he wants you to be friendly to others. God has given you people to love. They may not be the ones you want, but he put them in your life for a reason. Your loneliness will be remedied by interaction with them and not by escape into fantasy or other addictive behavior.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Father,
Lead me to Godly friends who show your love and faithfulness and help me be that friend to others.
Amen
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

-> -> I FIND THIS ONE TO BE SO TRUE. i DON’T SEEK MY FRIENDS WHEN i AM TROUBLED – i SINK INTO FANTASY OR ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR. MY BFF WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR ME AND I HER, BUT I SEEK FANTASY RATHER THEN REALITY.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you! I Corinthians 6:23

Fibromyalgia Pain Relief: Control Your Carbohydrates Intake

Fibromyalgia has been associated with reactive hypoglycemia. Reactive hypoglycemia usually occurs a couple of hours after one takes a large portion of carbohydrates. It causes symptoms such as headache, dizziness, anxiety, fatigue and sugar or carbs cravings. Furthermore, whenever high amounts of carbohydrates are consumed, it causes a corresponding increment in insulin production which can increase pain sensitivity.

Limit your carbohydrates consumption, but do not abstain from it because an appropriate amount of carbohydrates is still essential for normal brain functioning; unlike the rest our body, our brain only gets energy from glucose.

Facing Or Denying Reality in 2017

I wanted to share my friend’s great article. I urge you to follow him. He is a doctor with well thought out articles.

All About Healthy Choices

“IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME!”

These seven words are expressed and/or believed by a large percentage of the population. “Dangerous diseases” and “death” simply isn’t “REAL” to the average person whether young or middle age. SELFDENIAL is the typical approach used to “prevent” oneself from succumbing to these horrific outcomes.

WHY ARE WE SO RESISTANT TO FACE THE TRUTH?

  1. Why do we CHOOSE TO BELIEVE harmful foods will not cause harmful outcomes?

  2. Why do we CHOOSE TO BELIEVE sedentary living will not negatively impact our health?

  3. Why do we CHOOSE TO BELIEVE  good health can be achieved without exercise?

  4. Why do we CHOOSE TO BELIEVE stress does not contribute to disease and death?

  5. Why do we CHOOSE TO BELIEVE the FREEDOM to make poor decisions is more important than the RESPONSIBLE option to CHOOSE better alternatives?

  6. Why do we CHOOSE…

Fibromyalgia – tips to losing weight

Most of us Fibromites gain weight at any time, but during the holidays it is much worse. Here are some tips to help you lose weight.

  1. Sleep – get enough sleep and if you can’t do it on your own seek medical help.
  2. Go for hormone tests, imbalance causes weight gain.
  3. Limit sugar intake. High sugar content is very bad if you have Fibromyalgia.
  4. Fibromyalgia causes sugar cravings along with loss of chromium and magnesium.
  5. Consume more carbohydrates and more protein.
  6. Consume more fruits and vegetables. Consuming more fiber helps keep you full longer.
  7. Work out regularly. Keep the activity light and easy. Swimming/Aerobics is a good choice.

Happy Holidays from Tessa and Family

All I can say is that I am happy that it is over. I do not like the holidays.

I wished for something to happen so I would not have to attend. I got sick, upset stomach and severe body pain. Unfortunately it was not bad enough to get me out of it.

I am not in a good mood right now. Mood swings again.

Hope everyone had a great holiday.

My Journal for Sunday – Tessa

December 18, 2016

Went to my weekly brunch with my best friend of about 8-9 years. We had to skip yesterday and go today because of the ice. We usually go on Saturdays.

I have started to be interested in Word games again. An improvement. I am still feeling interested in life and not depressed. Probably more mixed moods.

Getting ready for my grandson’s birthday party. Hopefully all goes well with my ex-husband.

Later:

I am home, tired, and ready for bed. It is still early though. Parties of any kind take my strength away physically (upstairs) and mentally.

My ex and I are doing better. Thankfully.

Slowly stabilizing…Tessa

Improvement is slow, but there is improvement and I feel so much better. I still suffer from mental impairment and that is scary. I hate having to have everything explained to me.  I was a straight A student and could have been valedictorian if I cared enough about it. Now I am lucky if I figure out what 2 plus 2 is.

I have to ask for my pills since the psyche nurse at the hospital told my children not to let me have them on my own. I have to ask all the time. What those dumb drs and nurses don’t realize and I talked this over with my psychiatric nurse who does my meds and she agrees.

  1. no one watches me take the pills, I could be saving them
  2. I have used a knife before
  3. I can wrap my car around a tree or into a bridge abuttment
  4. We have tall buildings around here

I am easing back into the computer. I will restart my devotions again soon, maybe even tonight.

I got my insurance set up, but this year it will be more expensive. I have it, but after paying for it won’t be able to use it much. Stupid. Hopefully I won’t lose my extra help from the state.

This year the government gave us a raise in SSDI. None last year. I got 4 dollars and part B Medicare went up $5.00. Wow! Should I grovel at Trumps feet. God only knows what he will do. My son finally got insurance through Obamacare, he paid the fine last year. From what I hear Trump is going to get rid of Obamacare as soon as possible.

I am freezing. I am also at the end of the heating system. I will have to get a new electric blanket. My dad put it down to 66 degrees because of the bill. Shiver.
