Sugar level was 114…FitBit

Have to recheck it in a bit since I ate more carbs than usual and need to see what it did to my sugar levels.

I  just checked it at the 2 hour mark and it was 271. Way too high!

My numbers come down slowly. They should come down faster. At least they are still coming down.

I wear a fitbit now and keep track of my steps. I made a goal of 1000 and my son changed it to 1500. Still fighting to meet the 2nd goal.

My pain level isn’t that bad today, but I do have the external yeast infection again and that is sore. Have cream to put on it.

Sugar level was 110 this morning

Working on watching carbs and my sugars aren’t too bad although probably need new or added medications.

Had my brunch today with my best friend. I had meat lovers omelette and extra sausage and a few potatoes. Not all of them that were on the plate.

I hear from my grade school friend just about every day by text which I am not very good at LOL!

Fibro pain has been acting up. Should be lessening if they are right about sugar making it worse.

Glucose number 97 this afternoon

I took my sugar level at 6 AM and it was 127 and then I took it again at noon before eating and it was 97. Then I had a Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowl and for some reason it didn’t taste right, but it only had about 19 grams of carbohydrates in it. My appetite still isn’t right despite stopping the Victoza.

Today is the graduation from Boot Camp for my grandson. Probably done already and they are scrambling to get back on the road. My ex-husband flew in. He lives in Jersey too. I missed going, but not missing spending 3 days with him.

Fibromyalgia Pain Relief Tip: 10 Minutes of Sun Everyday (instead of supplements)

Vitamin D deficiency has been associated with fibromyalgia due to the similarities in symptoms. Deficiency in Vitamin D symptoms include fatigue, body aches and pain, mood swings, anxiety and depression. Though there is no strong evidence that vitamin D deficiency causes fibromyalgia, various clinical trials have found that fibromyalgia patients who are given vitamin D supplements showed significant improvements in fibromyalgia symptoms.

Spending just 10 to 15 minutes in mid-morning sun every day enables your body to produce enough vitamin D, according to the Food and Drug Administration. However, the time needed to produce sufficient vitamin D may vary according to your geographical location, your skin color, your weight etc. For optimal sun exposure, make sure that you do not wear any sunscreen on your skin as it impedes the absorption of both UVA and UVB of which the latter is what your body needs to produce vitamin D.

Grade School “fling” – reunited at 60 years of age…

D and I were very close friends in grade school. We had a fling, as much as children our age had flings. There was something about D that tickled me pink. Then came the news that I had to move. It wasn’t really far, but it may as well have been. We didn’t see each other again except briefly at a huge factory we both worked in and in separate areas, We didn’t renew our friendship at that time.

Around 5-6 weeks ago something told me to look him up in Facebook. I found him and friended him, but was afraid he wouldn’t remember me. He did and he remembered how close we were.

He visited me in the hospital. What a shock! Still the same old D.

We both divorced, but he remarried. Friends it is, but how cool to find him again.

My daughter is off to see her Marine!!

I was supposed to go to, but my health is not the best and no one wants me stuck in a hospital far away from home. Plus my anxiety was so high, I was really scared. Therefore I am back on anxiety and bipolar meds.

Our Marine is now a PFC, meritoriously promoted from PVT.  He also got the highest combined PFT/CFT. SO PROUD OF THAT BOY.

My sugar was only 130 this morning and that is eating a full dinner (including bad fries…bad, bad, bad LOL) and a snack of popcorn before bed. So tired of pricking my finger. At least I don’t have to prick my belly at the moment. Wait to see what medication the endocrinologist tries next. The Victoza was injection. So are a lot of the new ones they have come up with. That kept my sugars too low since I couldn’t eat with it. NO appetite.

My eyes are getting worse. Must wear my reading glasses for the computer now. I also have bifocals for distance and magnifying glasses for the really small stuff. My eyes are starting to show the diabetes. Kind of scary. Hate to lose my sight. However I am going to go with the fact that my eyesight is fine and nothing is going to go wrong because I am finally watching my diabetes. I put my faith in God, God will it.

I have a chiropractor appointment and a therapy appointment today.
