Diabetes and Victoza

My Diabetes is still out of control. Went on Victoza (daily injection) and it dropped way too low and took my appetite away and family had to force me to eat. After a week and a half doctor said to stop it and go back on my oral meds and try them again. Sugar is higher now and I can eat again.

Back on Klonopin, Trilofon (mood stabilizer) and Paxil.

Every single one of us who lives with bipolar goes through the ‘meds or no meds’ trials…Oh, how amazing it would feel to conquer it sans meds…Th reality is very different and very grueling.

My thoughts are with you no matter your choices. It’s just tough all around ❤

I did come all the way off, but the result was bad. I have to just accept that I need them and my family needs to accept that too. Thanks for your support.

I can’t take metformin either. He will probably try another of the injection ones because they are still high most of the time. Occasionally I get a low one.
