My sugars are staying high. Don’t know what changed.

I did have to get a new meter. Ordered it today. Don’t know if it has a problem because of the meter or not. I can’t use the buttons to get my previous readings. Maybe it is my diet. If the Victoza didn’t take my appetite away I could eat more carbs. Now even none (fasting) is high again.

My grandson went to Camp LeJeune last Monday. Should be home again in a month to try recruiting to earn more stripes and see if he likes it. Whatever he ends up doing, I am proud of him. He is a good boy and hard working.

Don’t let this dissuade you from continuing to pursue a healthy course. Sometimes the body needs to “reset” and numbers reflect an imbalance. In the end, doing the “right thing” generally leads to the “right outcome.”

I am even giving myself shots. Big change in my life. Explained to nurse and the aid in the hospital last night how I got over that phobia.

I told them that my mature self and I mean over 40 mature not 25 mature. At 30 I still ran for the hills and screamed bloody murder when I saw a needle. My mature self was able to convince herself that one it was for the best (maybe lol) and that it would only hurt for a little while and that you are a big girl now. No childish antics. Won’t work for everyone though.
