Healthier dinner


Ok so dinner was closer to healthy than normal.  Also low carbohydrate and high protein.

I had dark meat chicken (rotisserie), raw broccoli with just a little Italian dressing to dip into and cheese.

My day is later than normal people so that was technically meal # 2. Still have one to go.

I just had an hour consult with a nurse from my insurance company. Learned some new stuff about insulin and taking it. These consults are free. We also talked about mental health and my medications and treatment.

    I am SO glad you are eating healthier for your well being. Just gotta say, for me, you could coat broccoli in chocolate sauce, garlic butter, and cheese dip and I would still find it unpalatable.
    Give me canned green beans, pea, corn, honey coated carrots…I can deal. Broccoli…not my thing no matter how many different ways I try it.
    Good for you adapting for your well being!

      Thanks Morgue. It has been a wake up call. I was slowly killing myself. Not easy though. I am a grazer and breaking that habit isn’t easy.
