Went to the dentist and after 35 years I have a cavity

It is behind my last molar and ought to be difficult to reach. I don’t believe I really had a cavity back when I was 25 because that dentist was a quack. This dentist thinks it is a cavity. He can see something in the x-rays, but not seeming so positive.

The cleaning was expensive enough, no insurance, and this cavity is supposed to cost me $268 itself besides the $150 I paid for the cleaning.

Sugar levels all over the place again. Will be glad when they settle down again after the drop in insulin evens out.

Ooops is right. I don’t trust dentists. I have been scammed by them before. I never had cavities than at age 25 this new dentist ripped me off for the removal of my wisdom teeth and then suddenly found some cavities. So I just don’t trust them. Add to that that these xrays weren’t new, that means either the other dentist didn’t think it was a cavity or missed it. Either way, don’t trust them. How can I prove it is not a cavity and I don’t want complications so I have to fill it.

I don’t think I have either. I have pits in my teeth that are not cavities and only one dentist wouldn’t list to me and insisted on filling them. Til now 35 years later they claim (different dentist) I have a cavity and they used my last xrays not new ones so does this mean they missed it or the last one to look at it didn’t think it was a problem.
