Combining 2 blogs into 1 is not easy!

There is no import for a free blog to a free blog. I must do it by hand. I am deleting a lot that isn’t a story or poem, but the deleting option keeps freezing up and having errors. I am getting quite annoyed. The ones I want to move over take a lot of copy/pasting.

Beginning to wonder whether I should have started this. One blog might be easier, but this is driving me crazy. It is going to take a while and deleting the old stuff I don’t want isn’t working barely at all. WordPress keeps giving me errors.

I have tried trashing them or deleting them and one or two might go, but then I get the errors again.

Although the last time I looked my Facebook connection was back on “Tessa Can Do It” and that is progress. Took them long enough.

I simply do not know. I know the free blogs, which I use don’t have much fancy stuff to them. As far as I can see I simply have to move what I want to save over by hand and then delete the unwanted blog. Did it before, but I had barely started the unwanted blog so was easy to do. My story blog was started in 2012 and many posts written each day except for occasional times when my bipolar took me deep into the dumps. I don’t know how many posts they hold or what happens if you hit a certain number. I have over the years read through and deleted ones that no longer mattered. I have almost 700 left on the blog I am moving and getting rid of. And that is trashing a lot of it. I am basically only keeping my stories and poems.

Is that when we met? somehow think you already had it; I just didn’t know about it for a while; know that was the year my last granddaughter was born – quite a year and I know I put that journey somewhere, not sure if on my blog here – if I even had it then – or not; think I’m gonna go check

I had 3 for awhile and then 2 and yes it was hard to keep up. Couldn’t decide what should go in which blog. So now all will be on one. No more thinking and deciding and making 2 posts if I thought it relevant to both blogs.

Thanks. I didn’t try it. From what I can see, the import/export is more used for offsite sites where you host your blog then for going back and forth between the free ones.
