Can’t delete my writing blog without it deleting “Tessa Can Do It”

It is time to renew the dot com on Finally A Writer and I had already taken the auto renew off so it wouldn’t auto renew, but right in the middle of posting to “Tessa” it blacked out my screen and told me that if I didn’t renew my writer blog (it is number one in the list so I guess it is the main blog) that no one would see “Tessa Can Do It” and that is the blog I wanted. So I guess the other blog isn’t going anywhere or I lose my “Tessa” blog. Pretty annoyed right now. I just renewed the domain on the writer blog to keep my other blog. I knew they were linked under one address, but thought I could delete the main one and the next one in line would remain and be the new main blog. Obviously not. That is one way to make sure they get their money.

I won’t be updating it. I guess I will not continue to take off what I want and then set it to not be seen in the search engines. I will leave it there. I am still getting new followers despite the notice that I am not updating it anymore. Go figure.

I couldn’t tell you. I use the free ones too. I had them separated, but it was becoming a pain separating my posts and actually wanting everyone to know so now there is the one that I update all the time and now I have one that won’t be updated, but no longer going to move everything over. People are still following it. Still getting new followers so just leaving it as be. I know nothing about limits on the blogs sorry. I will be in the same boat as I blog all day usually.

Listen go to the dashboard and in the upper left corner is a square with info in it. It tells you how much space you get and how much you have used. I have over 2000 posts on mine and only have used 26% of this blog. I don’t think you have to worry about that for a very long time unless you are blogging long posts all the time and I am missing them.

You are welcome. I lost a lot of my technological knowledge due to my Fibro. Sometimes I can still find things. Now relax. We should have plenty of time to worry about running out of time LOL!

Lately everything I touch goes bad. I have posted comments that don’t show up. Whether they show up to the person they were sent to I don’t know, but they don’t show on my end. Very aggravating at times.

It has been doing so many weird things lately that I don’t dare mess with it too much. The screen blacking out on “Tessa” and telling me it would be deleted if I deleted “Writer” was too much to take a chance on. There is still plenty to read on there and I just had another follower. I guess that means it is staying, but I won’t be updating it. I much prefer it all going to just one blog.

Well, if you can’t delete your old blog that should save you some copy & paste time. Then if you want to call attention to an old post that’s on your writer blog, you can always link back or reblog it 😉

Yes definitely saves time. Almost 700 posts on there. I was really dreading having to copy and paste them all. I did delete a lot that weren’t really stories or poems and still had that many and started to copy over some. Weird thing is “Tessa” is an old blog that I deleted everything and wiped it clean. But somehow they are considering the writer’s blog the oldest.
