#WeekendCoffeeShare with Eclecticali
If we were having coffee I would be mentioning how my pain from my Degenerative Disk Disease, Stenosis of the spine, arthritis and Fibromyalgia is constantly coming and going.
I had to fight all week to get my pain management dr to fax over the request for the EKG (due to diabetes) so that I may start my epidural treatments. Mailing took them 8 days and I wouldn’t have gotten an EKG appointment in time. Got the last one just before my first back epidural and that took 3 days of constantly every few hours calling pain management for the fax.
The good news is that the pain has decreased some and comes and goes now.
As for my daughter, her arm was not broken. She broke all the capillaries under the skin and shows no bruising just terrible swelling. Workman’s comp wants her to work and she can’t . There is nothing there for her to do. She does dialysis nursing.
They found out that the cabinet that fell on her was not attached to a stud but to the dry wall. Dangerous place to work. Possible lawsuit has been discussed because that is very dangerous and she is in constant pain and swelling and they won’t give her anything for the pain except Tylenol. Plus she hurt the other arm while trying to stop the cabinet from hitting her where it did. They will not address that.
I will be heading to my weekly brunch with my BFF. We both look forward to that. Having diabetes limits my choices of food and I am on insulin. I take 3 shots with meals and a long terms shot at bedtime. 4 a day plus all the finger pricking. I have been on insulin since June 7 of this year, My A1c has come down a lot and my daily readings are usually pretty low and under control usually anyhow. I have an occasional relapse for a special occasion or a low because I miscalculated my carb count.
Have a great weekend and God Bless You All!
