There is still hope according to this blog writer.

The Merry Writer

What do you do;

A) Cry

B) Give Up

C) Cry and then Give Up

OR

D) Follow these Five Tips for Surviving NaNoWriMo when you have no time to spare?

Well, it’s up to you… but I’d try D id you’re really keen on the idea of participating. 1)

First of all, and this one’s on the house, take a deep breath; I get it (every writer does) as we speak it’s nearly day three and I have not written a word. Why? Because I’m moving house, I have two jobs, and I have to keep my family and dogs more or less alive. I’m stressed about one hundred things, but NaNo ain’t one; I can write, of this I’m sure, and it may shock you to learn that I’m equally certain that YOU can…

Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?
All are welcome! Just add your link to the Linky-List on the main page, and be sure to visit others and join in their conversations! The link will be open from November 3rd at 7am (Pacific Time) through November 6th at 7pm (Pacific Time) to give us a good range of “weekend”!

#WeekendCoffeeShare with Eclecticali

******************

If we were having coffee I would be mentioning how my pain from my Degenerative Disk Disease, Stenosis of the spine, arthritis and Fibromyalgia is constantly coming and going but has actually lessened quite a bit.

I actually have times where there is no pain and I am forgetting the pain pills whereas in the beginning I was anxiously watching the clock for the next one. My lumbar epidural is November 14. Finally less than 2 weeks left. I still have to get the EKG though.

I will be heading to my weekly brunch tomorrow morning with my BFF. We both look forward to that. Having diabetes limits my choices of food and I am on insulin. I take 3 shots with meals and a long term shot at bedtime. 4 a day plus all the finger pricking. I have been on insulin since June 7 of this year, My A1c has come down a lot and my daily readings are usually pretty low and under control usually anyhow. I have an occasional relapse for a special occasion or a low because I miscalculated my carb count. The Endocrinologist won’t like the lows. He wants my sugars above 100 and I am determined to get the numbers down to a normal range for a normal person, not normal for a diabetic. I belong to a group that has those goals. We eat under 50 carbs of grams per day and most under 20 carbs per day. Most people are losing weight with the low carb high fat diet or Keto diet (way of eating – WOE), but not working for me this time. Keeping my numbers lower, but not losing weight. So frustrating.

I got my automatic direct deposit in my new new bank account this morning and I closed my old bank account and now will be working with just the new one. Hopefully I remembered to change all automatic payments. I hated it when he asked me why I was closing it. I spun a half truth, half fib story. None of their business actually.

I wanted to get my hair cut before my lumbar epidural, but my favorite stylist is booked up until the day of my procedure so unless she gets a cancellation today I won’t be getting it done til a few weeks from now.

Have a great weekend and God Bless You All!
