Getting a Sleep Study with Fibromyalgia or CFS

Getting a Sleep Study with Fibromyalgia or CFS

I have had about 3 of these. Take something unrevealing to sleep in such as shorts and a t-shirt. In my case there wasn’t time to shower and you did not see a doctor after it. All places are different and the bathrooms were public, not private. I ended up leaving with that goop still in my hair. Even the one that I had a chance to shower it all didn’t come out. I had to go to work after one of them and I had yucky hair for the day. Maybe your lab will have weekend appointments, but wouldn’t count on it.

Fibromyalgia Diet: Good & Bad Foods

Fibromyalgia Diet: Good & Bad Foods

This is all subjective and applies differently to each person. What I can eat someone else may not. Try to eliminate the foods that bother you.

In the hospital again. Demolished my end table.

Severe vertigo and landed on my table crushing it (cheap Walmart). Hurt my hip and arm. Passed out and woke up on the table. 2nd night in hospital and running tons of tests.

Low income living – food pantries

My income is so low that I qualify for the local food pantries. I wish they let us pick what we want, but free food is good. What we don’t want or like we share with each other. We have a community table downstairs and everyone can give or take what they want from it. What is in my pantry containers that I don’t like I can almost replace with the things the others don’t like or want.

Not all food pantries are the same. Years ago where I used to live I went to the one for my area and had to stop. The food was all well past the expiration date and the cans were rusty and dented. I was afraid to eat the stuff. Thankfully I wasn’t that bad off that I needed that food to live on. It was a church and it surprised me that they would give that stuff out.

Not all areas have food pantries, but if you have them and are low income check them out. They check your income and identity. They used to just give out bags of food if you showed up. Things have changed.

I understand that soon we will be getting vouchers for fresh fruit and vegetables from a local farmer. This place is well-known for its produce. Hopefully my age will allow me to be eligible. My neighbor thinks so.

My cabinets are super tall and I can barely reach the lowest ones. I have to use a stool and only the first step to try and store this stuff. I am afraid of the second step.

Off to put the rest away.

Cooked first meal in the senior high rise

This morning I went to the food pantry. I qualify and this one at least the food is fresh, not outdated and not rusty and dented.

So for the first time I drug out the pots and pans and made spaghetti. Eventually I will get back to cooking my own sauce, but this one was unseasoned so I had to add seasonings to it and it was actually quite good. There is of course, left overs.

Next on my to do list is to see if I qualify at a decent rate for a single meal in the afternoon which would at least give me at least one complete meal especially since I hate cooking. It is based on income so it may or may not be worth it, but will wait to see what they say. One girl gets 5 meals a week for $30 a month. That is about $1.25 per complete meal with beverages and desserts I believe and I pay a dollar or more for a tiny frozen meal.

What is a “STOP” sign?

Well here in America it is a red octagonal sign that says stop on it and means stop, cease, desist. Well it is supposed to. Nowadays it means speed up and beat out the car in the right of way lane. Oh yeah and you are just checking to see if your brakes will work at the last minute. What the hell. I almost got t-boned as they call it around here as the car with the stop sign realized at the last minute he wasn’t going to make it out in front of me. I had the damn right of way. Freaking moron (being polite here).

Now the cops are too busy monitoring constructions sites that are everywhere or taking coffee breaks in groups in some parking lot or another. America is out of control.

I just had an accident less than 2 months ago and unfortunately that was my fault and I am not completely sure what happened. I can’t even find the spot. I really hate driving.
