No Decorations This Year by Teresa Smeigh 2019
Every day through December 24, the residents were having a contest to see who would have the best window decorations for Christmas. Three-year old Shelly, on the third floor, was thrilled with the whole idea of Santa coming this year. She had her list ready.
Everyday mom opened the window to let her look out to see what had been added. Shelly started to clap and jump at the newest Santa she saw. She leaned forward for a closer look and lost her footing. Mom didn’t react fast enough. Shelly went head first through the window. The lights went out!

Nice to see you again, Teresa! What a horribly sad story, though!
