Love Me, Love Me Not by Teresa Smeigh 2019
Daisy was lazily daydreaming eyeing the gorgeous roses Tim got her. She had never seen gold-tipped roses before. “He loves me, he loves me not,” she murmured.
The ringing phone turned out to be her best friend. She gave her attention to Janey.
Janey was babbling on about the new man she had met. The way she described him you would think he was perfect in every way. Daisy started to tune her out. She was thinking about Tim.
Suddenly she tuned back in. Did she hear something about gold-tipped roses?
“Can you believe it, he brought me gold-tipped roses?”
