Vintage Planter? by Teresa Smeigh 2019
It was a poor part of the city, but the people tried very hard to make it look nicer. They painted the boarded over windows and doors bright colors and designs. Some of them were even painted by people with talent and were real masterpieces.
Children running and playing in the area were suddenly stopped by a new object placed around the corner of one of the unkempt buildings. It was an old piano, missing its keys and top and used as a planter. The top was filled with all different kinds of flowers, the colors complimenting the painted boards.
