Welcome to the new Opposites Attract Challenge!

For this challenge, I provide one word and a list of its antonyms. The challenge is to use the prompt word AND one (or more) of its antonyms in some form of writing (or creative work).

Explore the word and its opposite … challenge your creative side

Todays word: knowledgeable

Antonyms: ignorant, unacquainted, unfamiliar, uninformed, unknowledgeable

“You’re an idiot Bubba,” the kids were yelling.

The leader said, “You’re an ignorant fool.”

“Oh no I’m not,” shouted Bubba. “I’m knowledgeable about lots of things.”

Where did he learn what knowledgeable meant they started to wonder? He always seemed uninformed about everything, hence the name Bubba.

“What does knowledgeable mean Bubba?”

“Uhm not sure, but we had it in vocabulary class today and Miss Johnson said I was knowledgeable as the example sentence so I must be.”

They all walked away shaking their heads. He was still ignorant despite the teacher’s example.
