Rewrote “Dizzy”

I rewrote a poem I had called Dizzy. This is the new version posted on my writing blog “Always a Writer!”

Always A Writer

Here is the new version of this poem.

Whirlwind Thoughts!

By Teresa Smeigh April 2019

My mind is in a whirlwind,

Often leaving me chagrined.

Bipolar is one part of my problem.

My thoughts, I can’t suppress them.

Do this, please do not do that!

What am I, a dimwitted doormat?

I need some help regrouping.

I hate this negative thinking.

Positive thinking that’s the way,

Don’t let others lead you astray.

One day I am going to be free.

Barring any troubles, I can’t foresee.

It takes time and determination.

Planned, not just adaptation.
