Ghost Hunting?
By Teresa Smeigh 2019
Alex was goaded into going ghost-hunting. The house they were talking about was scary in the day, let alone at night.
The stipulation was that it had to be after dark and no flashlights allowed.
He went as soon as the sun set, crept in the front door and started down the hall where he tripped over something solid. It must be a body not a ghost. He ran for the front door only to be met by his friends.
He was babbling about bodies and his friends were laughing and finally told him it was just a rolled-up carpet.

Poor guy could have toppled over and died! But I’m thinking he may have participated in the same prank on someone else 🙂

Oh I am sure, because that is a very common prank among kids.

Oh the poor guy. When the mind is on scary things it’s easy to be deceived. Fun story.

Karma bites us in the butt too often. Perhaps fun at first, but mostly not for long.

Alex was tricked. So there is no ghost int he building. Would his friends be as courageous?

His friends have all probably been in the same spot. 🙂
