No Shots Please

By Teresa Smeigh 2019

“How do you think you did?” Marcy asked her best friend Joan who was trying to hold her gown closed as she sat on the table in the doctor’s office.

“I’m worried! The doctor grabbed my test results and handed me this box of confections and said you are going to need these.” He ran out of the room muttering to himself. “What do you think he’s going to tell me that he needs to sweeten the blow?”

“If you eat all those you will end up with Diabetes for one thing.”

One-Liner Wednesday – (5/1/19) – Leggings

One-Liner Wednesday – (5/1/19) – Leggings

*********************

I bought these leggings from this company that everyone was raving about and when I got them I was sure they wouldn’t fit so surprise I had to end up apologizing as they did fit and good at that.

(PS) I do not have the figure for leggings. I need to wear long shirts over them for one thing. Well I pulled them out of the package and held them up and tried to stretch them from side to side and no way were they going to fit. So I wrote a somewhat nasty letter to the company when they refused to refund my money. Well they wrote me again and politely asked me to please try them on as they had a special fabric that had a 4 way stretch and please send them my measurements.

I grumpily pulled them back out of the bag and struggled to get my feet in them which hurt my back. I finally got them in and pulled the leggings up. Not only did they fit, but they help pull that flabby flesh in tighter. I still need a long shirt, but they are very comfortable and they have at least one pocket on most of them. Pockets on leggings is great. So I had to apologize for being rude and restarted my membership up as this is a membership program where you get one pair every month. A little expensive, but a comfortable fit with tummy and butt control with pockets. I spent time ordering from another site to get shirts as they only sell the exercise bra type tops. I looked for longer ones made for leggings and I am short so hopefully I will have a good amount that I can wear because my other pants weren’t comfortable at all and neither were the shirts. i like them loose fitting.

I got carried away this week LOL!

(PPS) The company is called “Pop Fit Clothing”

Rules from Linda G Hill:

Unlike SoCS, this is not a prompt so there’s no need to stick to the same “theme.”

The rules that I’ve made for myself (but don’t always follow) for “One-Liner Wednesday” are:

1. Make it one sentence.

2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.

3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.

4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!

5. Have fun!
