Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new)!

Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?

All are welcome! Just add your link to the Linky-List, and be sure to visit others and join in their conversations! The link will be open from Friday, February 8th at 7am (Pacific Time) until Monday, February 11th at 7am (Pacific Time) to give us a good range of “weekend”!

*********************************

If we were to have a coffee chat this weekend or for me ice tea for sure since I don’t drink coffee and it is too hot for hot tea, I would tell you that I did some research and there is a large list of words and I mean just words that are trademarked and require permission to use. Believe it or not Just simply the word Marine if it pertains to the military is trademarked and requires a license to use. I had a specific plan in mind and now I find all this stuff is trademarked and needs licensing to use. This really sucks. My whole project has come to a halt.

I would tell you that I ended up in the hospital for 4 days. Swollen feet and legs and couldn’t breathe with any exertion. Good news, not a clot like they originally thought. Breathing problem seems to be a major asthma attack along with allergies ramped up. Think maybe the swelling is due to the leggings because I put them on when I got home and now today I am all swelled up again. I guess I can’t wear them. For my breathing, I have a nebulizer now and 3 types of medicines used twice a day. Still having a problem, but hope it starts working soon. I also hope the outdoor allergies stop soon.

I would also remind you that Sunday is the weekly brunch with my BFF. I may have to go in my slippers since my feet are swollen now and may not go down overnight.

I am so sorry to hear about your hospital visit. That happened to me in November of 2011, and I also came out of it with a nebulizer, after a three- or four-day stay. Is a bad year a lot of places, I think, for allergens in the air. I trust that you’ve enjoyed your brunch and visiting. Best wishes for your week! You will be in my thoughts.
