#WEEKENDCOFFEESHARE : book really coming along, still waiting for my new kitchen floor.

Directions from ECLECTICALLI

Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new)!

Grab a cup of coffee and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? What are your weekend plans? Is there a topic you’ve just been ruminating on that you want to talk about?

All are welcome! Just add your link to the Linky-List, and be sure to visit others and join in their conversations! The link will be open from Friday, February 8th at 7am (Pacific Time) until Monday, February 11th at 7am (Pacific Time) to give us a good range of “weekend”!

*********************************

If we were to have a coffee chat this weekend or for me ice tea for sure since I don’t drink coffee and it is too hot for hot tea, I would tell you that I am flying through the first draft of my book. The two chapters I am fairly happy with have been posted on the blog just follow the book page.

We have been promised new kitchen floors and I am still waiting for mine. What I have is really nasty and impossible to get the dirt off of and of course, the yellowing is permanent.

My daughter, who is almost 40, is pregnant again. We have a new grandchild on the horizon barring any more problems.

I would also remind you that Sunday is the weekly brunch with my BFF. The weather is really hot and humid which means my breathing will be affected again. I am still having a problem breathing even with the nebulizer treatments.

Thank you. I had to rewrite most of the first two chapters due to legal problems due to using trademark info from the Marines which is also trademarked. So I changed my tack just a little bit. I couldn’t even use the name of the bases we were on. They trademarked everything imaginable. I got a glance at the flooring outside my door and it looks like tiling rather than the old linoleum we have now. It is gray so won’t show the dirt as easy either. Hopefully it will be Monday now. I am glad you liked my first two chapters.

I hope your breathing eases soon. We have a green coating on everything outdoors. New kitchen floors are always nice, I’m waiting on counter tops and I’m pretty darn excited about saying goodbye to my old red laminate ones!

Hi Tessa. The heat is on for us today too. It’s still early here, so I have the windows open to suck in as much cool morning air as possible before the sun really starts blasting us.
I hope you can stop by to check out my new story about one spunky gal I dated back in the mid 70s. I think you would enjoy her story.
    Blessings regardless.
May God send you lots of fresh, easy-breathing air for your lunch and week.

We’re going through a real hot spell right now. I can’t take this heat. Wow, what a story! Sorry it ended that way though. You wouldn’t find me up there for nothing LOL! I am terrified of heights!
