Sunday Photo Fiction – June 9, 2019

Didi’s special birthday party included a sleepover. Her dad put up a tent for the girls to sleep in.

The girls were planning on sleeping outside alone provided none of the other parents objected or any of the girls were afraid.

Didi had slept outside in the tent a lot with her sisters so she wasn’t worried at all.

The other mothers objected, and they only agreed if either Didi’s older sister or her mother was with them. Didi was disappointed, but if she wanted to sleep in the tent she had to agree. She would much prefer her older sister than her mother, but that would depend on whether Susan was available.

Susan had a date which left her mother. Her mother wasn’t any happier sleeping in the tent either, but she had promised Didi they could sleep outside so it was up to her.

The girls arrived and they climbed into the tent with Didi and her mom. After all the fun died down and they were ready for sleep, a moaning began outside the tent. The girls were scared and didn’t listen to Didi’s mom about it being nothing.

Sudden laughter outside showed Didi’s two brothers.

Rules from Susan, the host of Sunday Photo Fiction:

Welcome to 2019 and Sunday Photo Fiction! Each week I will post a new photograph, taken either by myself or donated by a member of the community. The challenge is to write a story using 200 words or less based, on the prompt. When you are done, post your story and the photo prompt on your blog. Make sure you give proper credit when using the photo.  Use the “Click Here to Enter”  icon to add your story to the SPF collection. While you are there, take time to read and comment on some of the other stories. I know you will not be disappointed.
