For visually challenged writers, the image shows the dark silhouette of an island in a shimmering lake, surrounded by shadowy hills. The sun is breaking out from behind the clouds in rayed splendour.

This is the continuation of John and Susan. I have decided to make this a book. I am working on that on NANOWRIMO since there is a beginning that needs to be told. Part of these prompts won’t fit into the book but will use some of them eventually after a proper beginning. This manuscript now has a beginning, middle and end although it is not fleshed out yet. It is more like a slightly detailed outline.

Back to the Kingdom of Bhatangary

By Teresa Smeigh 2019

Once settled in the private jet with drinks in hand, the family wondered what would happen to them once arriving in the Kingdom of Bhatangary. Will they be welcomed? Will they be turned away and have to fight their way in?

Jack studied the law, and kidnapping was definitely a felony crime, and his parents and Princess Isabella were definitely in trouble if they have done what Jack is figuring they have done.

Once they arrived, he would get in touch with Marcus Green, his best friend from school. He is now the chief of police of the town outside the royal castle. His territory can include the castle if it is something that affects the people living in the village outside the castle.

If the King and Queen kidnapped the royal princes and stopped them from possibly taking over the throne if something had happened to his dad the King, then he is involved, and so is the townsfolk. Once they land he will talk to him and explain the situation and get him to open the castle up to him, Joanne and the boys and if their real boys are there, and their DNA matches Jack’s and Joanne’s then the King and Queen will be arrested and asked to abdicate as they have broken federal law. So will anyone else involved in the situation. There were all the people following Jack and Joanne around and keeping an eye on them both before they left for their future homes and after arriving at their new homes. It is also assumed that Princess Isabella was part of the switch and that she was the one taking care of the children all this time. She was not qualified as a nanny, and therefore the two royal princes wouldn’t have been taught all the right life choices as a King to be in charge.

Jack can’t believe his parents would be sick enough to steal his children just to make sure they had a royal prince to succeed the King if something were to happen. He had no desire to be the King, but if worse had come to worse, he would have stepped up until his child, one of the princes, could have taken over. How could they feel so little trust in him? He was born a prince, and he was brought up as a royal prince. He wouldn’t have let the Kingdom down if they needed him to take over. It hurt that they didn’t trust him to do the right thing if necessary. They knew where he was at all times. They could have gotten a hold of him whenever if it had been necessary.

Sure he had declared that he didn’t want to be the King, and that was definitely ok as long as he would have done the right thing in the end. And he would have. He and Joanne had talked about it because it was a possibility, and they were taking the royal heirs to other areas. Maybe they had been selfish in their desires and taking the children away, but now it seems as if they didn’t take the royal princes away after all. They were taken from them without their knowledge.

Finally, everyone fell silent until it was announced that they would be landing soon. Jack glanced out the window at the landscape and the water surrounding the island of the Kingdom. The water was shimmering, and if the situation hadn’t been so terrible he would have enjoyed the sight.
