An Overview of Opioid-Induced Hyperalgesia and Allodynia

Abnormal pain states paradoxically caused by painkillers

***************

This is an issue I have heard about and often wonder if my painkillers (I take Percocets) are increasing my pain. I didn’t think it was possible for it to be any worse and it is. It is constantly getting worse. This is more common it seems with those of us with Fibromyalgia than someone who takes it just for regular pain.
