Positive vs negative

We draw to us what our thoughts are. Think positive thoughts and bring more positivity into you life, not the negative.

Meera Lester-365 ways to live the law of attraction

She talks about the people who are so self-focused that they seem to derive pleasure from dwelling on all the things that are going wrong in their life. I am afraid that is me. It is not exactly pleasure, but it draws attention and it also draws more of the same thing. The more I dwell on it the worse it gets and the more I draw to me. Every day something else happens and I go here I go again. Why do these things happen to me? The simple answer is that I draw them to me, by constantly dwelling on them. It isn’t easy to stop either.

Attracting the good or the bad

I am guilty of this. I moan and whine about my lot in life, my pain, my lack of money or whatever, that believers of the Law of Attraction feel that I am drawing those bad things to me. I could just as well be drawing the good to me instead. It works both ways. We attract what we feel good or bad.

By Meera Lester – “365 Ways To Live The Law Of Attraction”

I have mentioned the Law of Attraction time and again. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. This  book has 365 ways (or days if you wish) of info. I will post some things if I think them relevant to positivity. Mainly that is what I am more interested in.

I understand the law of attraction. What you project out into the universe you draw to you. Think positive thoughts and you will attract positive people and things to you. Project the bad thoughts and that is what you will attract. As someone put it, whining about my pain and unhappiness will just draw more towards me.  I understand this, but it is very hard not to think negative thoughts when your life basically sucks and my pain is unbearable.

I have had many discussions with my dad about these subjects and a lot of other ones many of you may not believe in. And that’s ok, we are all different and have different beliefs.

Part of me wonders if I am being punished for something I did in a past life. Then again it could be this life. I have done some things that I knew were morally wrong and I feel wicked at times for having lived through some of the things I did in my life.

God has a plan for us and mine isn’t particularly pleasant this time around (if you believe in re-incarnation). And from what I have learned we will relive certain lives until we have learned the lessons God has set out for us. You will repeat a lesson until you learn it.

God bless us all!

Morning sugar reading was 118

Saw endocrinologist yesterday and he upped my insulin and I joined a 50 carbs or less group on Facebook.

I asked about getting off of insulin and he flat out told me I had to lose a lot of weight. I wasn’t insulted by it because it is true and I have come to terms with my weight. Maybe the low carb diet will help like before. Doing great til I quit, but this time there is no quitting. I am in it for my life. I want to live.

Tomorrow is my first silver sneakers class. I am so out of shape just walking a few feet takes my breath away. This class is for seniors and done on a chair. Sounds like what I need to get started.

I am happy, content, wealthy in ways other than just money.

The Law of Attraction and Religion

The Law of Attraction cares not whether you are deeply religious or not at all. Works for Atheists and Agnostics also.

It also doesn’t differentiate between good and bad thoughts part of the reason we draw the bad things to us.

I am happy. I am content. I am bringing the good into my life.

Be Aware of Your Thoughts – they can attract bad as well as good

We manifest what we mostly think about. If you dwell on bad things, bad things can happen.

Try to keep your thoughts positive and banish negative ones.

I constantly think about how sick and in pain I am and it never goes away. I am visualizing myself as healthy. I even visualize myself running again even though at the moment walking is an issue. I see it, I believe it, I can do it when the time is right.

I am happy, healthy and content with life.
