My Baby – live manic adoption

Sara
Taken by Teresa Dean Smeigh

This the result of one of my wild manic phases. I adopted a psychotic cat.

I can barely take care of myself and now I have a psychotic cat with a psychotic mommy.

I was told it was a good idea to have someone to take care of, to distract me from my problems. So I have a psychotic cat that won’t stop meowing and eats like an elephant.

I love her, but it was one of the stupidest things I have done while manic. I can’t pick her up and she hates people, except my son for some reason.

I think he must remind her of her previous owner. It is not because he is male because she has been here almost 4 years and still runs and hisses at my dad. But she took to my son not long after he moved in here.

Completely off topic, but… is that Shinji in your avatar? It’s too small for me to be able to truly see on the mobile version of this! Haha.

They say cats choose their owners! I love black cats. My faves. Unfortunately I have a severe allergy to them, so no cats for me.

Beautiful kitty! I had to laugh at the psychotic part… my cat is Cybil (aka Cybil the Psycho Cat). She’s fifteen now, but she scares most people who come to our house. At least your son is safe 🙂

Thank you Janna. I had no idea what I was getting into when I got her. I like Cybil as a name. She would like her meals served buffet style LOL!

I have always admired a cat’s ability to tell us exactly how they feel, as soon as they are feeling it, even if it is with their teeth and nails. She looks like a real beauty 😸
