*********************************

No snow predicted for this weekend so we can have coffee with no interruptions. This has been an expensive week for me. First I decided to have cable and internet WiFi added to my apartment. What I wasn’t expected was that my endocrinologist decided my diabetes which has become worse and gone from type 2 to type 1 that I need an insuling pump. I am not sure how that is going to fit into my already tight budget, but he feels that it would be better for my health. If I had known I would have probably put the cable and internet off, but oh well I love having tv and internet like I was used to. The iPhone hotspot worked, but not well.

We have been lucky. Around 6 years or so ago we had 2 feet of snow around 3 times all on top of the other. I had to drive to work in that. Without 4 wheel drive i got stuck on the highway on-ramp. The van in front of me was sliding all over the road and everyone behind me was pushing me and telling me not to stop and here I have this vehicle in front of me sliding all over. I had to stop or we would have crashed. He finally stopped and they went back to pushing me. I got past the van and went and didn’t look back.

Some things just put a gold frame to our existence. I think good WIFI is one of those things. It’s my way to catch up with family, and friends, and make some extra money. I don’t have a TV though, I’d rather read a book. thank you for an inspiring coffee chat. I hope you’re having a great weekend!

You’ll enjoy the wifi and cable tv. I also hope it doesn’t break your budget. Some folks on the American Diabetes Association community message boards have mentioned like the insulin pump. I hope that it will work well for you!

Our week, here, has been occupied a lot by winter storms. Until my husband gets the paths redone in the back yard, there’s really nowhere that the dogs and I can run. In the latest blizzard winds, the paths started closing over, again. I’ve taken photos from the back and front doors, but not gotten out into it for some days, now.

    Best wishes for your week!
