Language Impairment in Fibromyalgia and CFS

Language Impairment in Fibromyalgia and CFS

This is very problematic for those of us who are writers. Sometimes I sit and just struggle to find the word I am looking for. The sentence I created is just way off and I know I have to find the word I am missing. Very frustrating.

I have language impairment from my psych meds. I struggle for the right word, sometimes write there when I meant their, and verbally, I am a train wreck. I will say the wrong words then stammer for the right one and people are like, are you drunk or high?
It’s not a problem when I go off the meds so I suppose it isn’t the same as your situation but just know you are not alone. Writing when you struggle for words is frustrating.

Thank you! I know it affects other people. I wonder how long this new Fibro and Chronic Fatigue medication is going to take to work or will it work.
