I quit wearing a bra and I am large chested, but it is just too uncomfortable and I rarely go out in public and if I do, tough bananas!

I only dress for the outside on the few occasions I leave my house and that is even less now that the coronavirus is all around me. People in my building are sick. We’re only allowed in the lobby if we are leaving, getting our mail or going to the laundry room. They closed our community room and stopped all our activities. No standing or stopping in the community areas. I am surprised they still let us get on the elevators together. Someone in management was overheard saying that will all that is going on here that they should shut the building down. Well, the law says you aren’t allowed to evict anyone from their living spaces in the time of this virus. At least around here. They can’t cut off your utilities either for non-payment and so many people are out of work right now. We have an 8 PM curfew. If you are on the roads after that you had better have a really good reason. The number of cases in my state is rising rapidly. I don’t know for sure how many people in my building are sick, but I am aware of 2. It is like a ghost town around here. Supplies are hard to get. I managed to stock up on food and water at least. As long as they don’t shut down the electric. They can’t cut us off for non-payment but if the grid goes down there’s nothing we can do and then I have a problem. I do have a good bit of water though.

Oh, and the doctors offices are either shutting down, using the phone and video chats, making you call inside to be told when you can enter the building so you are waiting in your car not the waiting room and in one I had my temperature taken before I was allowed to enter and all non-essential appointments are canceled.  There is no furniture in the waiting room so they don’t have to keep wiping it down. Weird experiences for sure.

My pain doctor is giving me less and less pain medication and I can barely stand it. And she isn’t seeing patients so I couldn’t even plead my case. I am furious with her.

I’ve given up on bras during winter all together. They make my skin feel sunburned, and sometimes bruised, and I have tried buying different sizes but it’s not just uncomfortable, it literally hurts my skin. I suffer during the summer cos I wear tank tops and am pretty busty and it helps soak up sweat but the happiest part of my day is ripping the torture device off.

We’re in a house in a small town of 400 so no lockdown or curfew as of yet. The stores are picked clean for ten towns around us, though, and I didn’t get money on the food card to stock up so now we’re just winging it. And my debit card is frozen and I can’t get the bank people to activate it so we have just had a bad bad month even without the virus thing going on.
I’ve been worried about the internet going down because so many people are home working and the kids are working on line since school is out, it’s already slowing our speed so it could take the whole service down. Never quite thought about a power grid going down but I did ask Spook this morning if the radio function on our MP3 players work. If technology fails, old school may be our only way to get any news.

I know you are one with religion and not sure what your state laws are, but if you are in that much pain, you might want to entertain medical marijauna. I know, it’s distasteful to me, too, but you have to figure out some way to get relief and I don’t see the doctors making you a priority any time soon with all this madness going on. Please don’t be mad at me for mentioning, it’s just a thought cos I know people it has helped.

❤ Thank you Morgue. I checked into medical marijuana and it simply is out of my budget even if I wanted to try it. I grew up with it being illegal and it is hard to get past that part. My pain doctor is not concerned about her patients. She is not even in the office and the poor office people have to be there for refills, but you can only get it if you are not sick because you have to take your urine test and they took my temperature when I went in. I don't know what the people running out and are sick are going to do. What she is giving isn't helping and according to pharmacy she is giving me even less this month. At this rate I will be off pain meds completely and my body is slowly starting to get used to the extra pain. It would be nice to not have to take them, but living with pain sucks no matter what. Pain doctor not available by phone either. I used to like her, but since my accident with the percocets she is pretty much writing me off.

The bras cause me to sweat which creates yeast infections underneath and they are nasty and painful. I don't even notice I am not wearing them anymore.

Sorry about your debit card woes. I am broke trying to get just basic supplies. Shelves are empty and limits on what is there. Only going to get worse and I hope the internet doesn't go down or the electricity grid going down either. I have food in the freezer and fridge. My nebulizer for my breathing medicines runs on electricity as well.
